Here, we report a table showing the evolution of miRBase IDs for human during the last 5 versions (from version 17 to 21, the last version).
This annotation is useful because several microarray or other gene expression platforms were based on old miRBase versions and old publications reported these IDs.
Through this mapping we can update our database reporting the mature miRNA ID from the literature and the last version of the IDs as well.
